The Adams County Commissioners have announced an opening for a Ditch Technician–Surveyor, a role responsible for overseeing countywide ditch and drainage needs.
According to the county’s notice, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with an air‑brake endorsement on a manual transmission is required within the first year of employment. Training in underground and overhead utilities is preferred, as is prior experience as a ditch technician.
