Downtown Decatur Day

Friday, June 19th: A family-focused program takes place on the Madison Street Plaza from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Setup begins at noon. The evening features a children’s Disney-themed sing-along followed by a 1990s music sing-along.

Saturday, June 20th: The event features street vendors, a kids’ zone, and a car show. It requires street closures from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. impacting Second Street from Monroe to Jefferson, Madison Street from Second to Third, and Jefferson Street from Second to Third.

Decatur Pride Festival

Saturday, June 27th: The festival takes place on the Madison Street Plaza from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Setup starts at 7:00 a.m. and teardown is completed by 11:00 p.m.

It is organized as a private rental event this year so organizers can manage their own security and control the space.
