SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA — Police Kill Suspect in Mass Shooting That Left Multiple Children Dead
A man suspected in a mass shooting that killed several children in Shreveport was shot and killed by police Sunday evening after a pursuit that ended behind a residential neighborhood, according to the Shreveport Police Department.
Authorities said officers had been searching for the suspect since the earlier shooting, which occurred at a home on the city’s west side. The attack left multiple children dead and others critically injured, prompting an urgent, city‑wide manhunt.
