Decatur water project doubles in scope after bids come in far under estimate
Decatur’s major water infrastructure project is set to double in scope after construction bids came in up to $2 million under estimates, allowing the city to replace hundreds of additional lead service lines and aging water mains. The $22 million SRF‑funded project is scheduled to begin construction in August.
